Greensea Appoints New Robotics Engineer

Greensea, creator of OPENSEATM, the universal marine industry operating platform, has appointed Geoffrey Abbott as Robotics Engineer. Geoff is responsible for advancing Greensea’s user interface and vehicle control systems for original equipment manufacturer products. He will be instrumental in furthering the company’s ability to easily integrate, configure, and deploy Greensea’s technology across vehicles and sensors in the marine industry.

Prior to joining Greensea, Geoff was a software development manager at MyWebGrocer, where he led a team in the Rapid Application Development Group. His experience also includes partnership in a local software development company and a teaching position in advanced programing at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Geoff earned his B.S. degree in Mathematics and minored in Computer Science at the University of Vermont, and he is a practitioner of the martial arts of Aikido and Tae Kwon Do.

“We actively seek engineers and programmers with varied knowledge to enhance our team’s perspective. Geoff’s experience owning a business, and his advanced mathematics capabilities, make him a great addition,” explained Ben Kinnaman, CEO and President, Greensea.
