Morgan & Eklund Names Director to Oversee New Market Expansion

Robert Collaro will oversee growth Hydrographic & Land Survey Business

Morgan & Eklund, Inc (M&E), a Florida-based land and hydrographic survey firm specializing in coastal and nearshore areas, announced they have hired Robert Collaro, GISP, as the Director of Hydrographic and Land Survey Business unit.

“2019 has been extremely busy for us and we want to continue that inertia. And to do that, we need to bring in talent. We are thrilled that Robert is joining our team and his experience will help us to continue growing our business,” said John Morgan II, president of M&E.

Robert Collaro, GISP, brings over 15 years of experience in Coastal Engineering and Hydrographic Surveying to M&E. Roberts has worked on a variety of high-profile project such as harbor deepening projects for large domestic dredging companies, to private equity funded, multi-organizational projects. He also has experience on dredges and hydrographic survey vessels in addition to FEMA, USACE and State agency projects. Prior to joining M&E, Robert was a Senior GIS Analyst and Environmental Specialist. Robert is a Certified GIS Professional and has his Remote Pilot Certification (sUAS) as well as numerous industry certifications.

Morgan and Eklund continues to grow as they leverage their unmatched experience in Florida surveying and Robert’s presence will allow M&E to develop and take advantage of emerging opportunities outside of Florida and Puerto Rico.
