Opportunity to Support Girls in STEM Initiative

The Chatty Scientist is happy to announce the launch of a Girls STEM event taking place in Portsmouth (UK) on July 14th, 2018. The event aims to support girls aged 13 – 16 into STEM subjects and improve the visibility of women in those fields.

The event is organized in partnership with the UK’s award-winning charity, The Girls Network, and University Technical College Portsmouth (UTC).

A selection of women speakers and industry representatives from various STEM backgrounds will be there on the day to give inspirational talks, host engaging discussion panels and speak one-to-one with the girls about their careers and experiences. The Chatty Scientist are also offering free training to women speakers selected to take part.

The team would like to invite industry members and research institutes to become a supporter of the event. Sponsorship packages include:

Bronze package (£250) Company logo on our supporter’s page and organizer presentation slides on the day.

Silver package (£500) All of the above PLUS logo on email correspondence to visitors, speakers and industry representatives, as well as information flyers on display.

Gold package (£750) All of the above PLUS company display materials on show during the event as well as verbal acknowledgment at the beginning and end of the conference.

Bespoke packages can be discussed outside of these specific prices to fit budgets.
