Opportunity: Chesapeake Bay Watershed Consulting Engineer

EA Engineering, Science and Technology has an opportunity for a self-motivated, mid-level Consulting Engineer to make an impact on Chesapeake Bay water quality improvement initiatives for State and local governments and commercial clients.

This position, based out of EA's Hunt Valley, MD office, will perform engineering tasks and manage projects involving site/civil design, stormwater management, water resources, as well as other environmental and civil subject areas. This position will be tailored to the selected candidate’s experience and personal interest.

The selected candidate will consult with EA project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform feasibility studies; and develop engineering plans and specifications.

EA has a tremendous base of positive client relationships, working hand in hand every day with public works and operations managers in government and industry, supporting their efforts to improve their performance and achieve their business and organizational goals. This has resulted in a stable backlog of projects and opportunities for growth.

Education - Minimum of B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.

Experience - The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of civil/environmental/water resources design experience, and be open to a stormwater focus.

Other Qualifications

1. Must be a Professional Engineer (P.E.), or working towards a P.E.

2. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is required.

3. This position is well suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a broad range of technical skills.

4. Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are vital.
