Continental Shelf Investment Capital Corporation (CSIC), the investment affiliate of Continental Shelf Associates, Inc. (CSA) has acquired the stock of Morgan & Eklund, Inc. (M&E), a hydrographic and land survey firm based in Wabasso, Florida.
Founded in 1985, M&E has become one of the leaders in hydrographic surveying in Florida providing boundary, topographic, GPS and hydrographic survey services. M&E’s clients include private sector companies together with federal, state and local governmental agencies working on critical infrastructure construction and water management projects across Florida.
Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Stuart, Florida, the CSA group of companies also includes CSA Ocean Sciences, Inc. (CSAOS), a leading marine environmental consulting firm that specializes in multidisciplinary projects concerning potential environmental impacts of activities throughout the world and offers a wide variety of field survey and desktop services.
