Ocean Career: Pacific Whale Foundation Vessel Staff Manager

Pacific Whale Foundation has an immediate opening for a Vessel Staff Manager.

Reporting to the EcoTours Manager, the Vessel Staff Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of crew, logistics and operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience for our guests while maintaining clear communication pathways to enhance employee engagement and team morale, while supporting the organization’s commitment to Pacific Whale Foundation’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion efforts.

Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a supervisory role and experience as a captain or crew member, have strong communication skills, have a good working knowledge of MS Office products, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Adding soft skills of collaboration, team growth skills and having a solution-oriented creative approach to problem solving will help you stand apart from other applicants.

This is a regular, full-time, salaried, exempt, hybrid position, based on Maui.

Pay is from $60,000.00, based on skills and experience.
