Responsibilities
- Support assigned project through its entire lifecycle, from award and acceptance of project material at the bid stage to planning, execution, completion and close-out
- Identify and drive opportunities for innovation and autonomy in offshore survey with respect to tenders and all project phases
- Identify and mitigate potential QHSE, technical and commercial risks for assigned projects
- Understand and implement solutions that will strengthen client relationships and monitor client performance against stipulated KPI’s, ensuring feedback is implemented in future work
- Be responsible for and monitor project execution and provide support to offshore teams during ongoing challenges and any project or contractual variations that may arise
- Develop project procedures and quality plans in alignment with Sulmara’s processes
- Attend onshore calibrations and liaise with third party service providers
- Undertake project briefings / debriefings during periods of mob / demobilization with key survey personnel / other project personnel
- Carry out site and client visits were required
Qualifications / Experience
- University degree in Survey / Geomatics or Hydrography or equivalent, or relevant industry experience
- Extensive field survey experience related to offshore survey
- Considerable experience as a Party Chief or similar operative discipline
- Ability to make decisions and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Must have a good technical understanding of offshore survey—both online and offline
